Lord Byrons Game Traditional Cache

On the grounds of Newstead Abbey. The ammo box cache is hidden near where Lord Byron sat and watched his staged miniature battleships on the lake. With amazing views of the Abbey.
A standard green army issue ammo box, with enough room for plenty of goodies. A few items already in there for the first to find, chosen with the help of my sons. They are well keen to see new treasures, any superhero related treasure will go down a treat :)
There are common paths for entry which are suitable for walkers and cyclists. But it's not really buggy friendly, as there are some areas that get muddy/uneven from the bridal path.
You can gain access to the grounds using common footpaths starting here:

Parking is free at these points. Otherwise, there is the option to can pay to gain entry to grounds via the main entrance via car/cycle with parking available at approx. 500m from the cache.

Within the grounds of Newstead Abbey. The cache is hidden where Lord Byron sat and watched his miniature battleships in action on the lake.
1m drive from the Abbey entrance gates. From there about a mile walk from the parking area. Easy to get to on foot, if not sometimes a little muddy in places when wet and from horses using the path, payment required for entry to the grounds.
