A small cache in the North East corner of Alexandra Park near what appears to be a large Bug Hotel!
The coordinates are for the cache itself, not the nearby Bug Hotel.
The Location around the cache:
The remains of the wall and small nearby building used to be one of the main entrances to the horse-racing course that used to be just South of here in the park (where the cricket and football grounds are now).
In the shelter of the South side of the wall are what appear to be two rather grand "Bug Hotels" erected here recently. You will see that they have all sorts of different materials and places for bugs to inhabit. I assume it was done as a project by local schools or by the BBC as part of Springwatch event which is sometimes held in the park.
The Cache:
The cache itself is hidden nearby the bug hotel.
It is a slightly camouflaged, round, plastic tub.
Inside is a small notepad, pencil and a few small items.
NOTE: The coordinates are for the cache itself, not the nearby Bug Hotel.
Happy hunting!
