A camouflaged jam container.
When a Serbian family receives guests, they will give them first Slatko and a glass of water. It is also taken at breakfast. Slatko is a specially prepared jam, but with whole pieces of small fruit, for example wild strawberries, blackberries or cherries in a syrup. Literally translated it means "sweet". My mother-in-law had handed us this container with Slatko, so the cache is named after that. It is a round plastic container, now camouflaged. This cache starts out with a Geocoin and a Travel Bug with a Smurfette. The area the cache is hidden in has a steep inclination - so be careful about your footing, particularly in rain or at night. Use care especially when there is snow and ice, the path may be hard to make out. Consider using equipment such as a walking stick or snowshoes. When in doubt - put it off to Spring. As of 12th February 2013: 1) Terrain Rating increased to 4.5 for the time of Winter 2) Winter Attribute taken off As of 9th August 2013: Found the tree beside the cache broken by a storm. The broken tree might complicate access to the cache, depending on from where one approaches. It is now a stump where the cache is. The cache has been left untouched. Safety first!! Postoji običaj da gostima se prvo posluži slatko sa cašom vode. Uzima se slatko sa vodom i za doručak. Za razliku od običnog džema, slatko sadrži cele komade voća, npr. šumske jagode, borovnice ili višnje u sirupu. Moja tašta je nama dala ovu okruglu, plastičnu teglu sa slatkim koja je sada maskirana. Zato ovaj geokeš - skrivena posuda - nosi ovo ime pa sam rešio da to opišem i na srpskom jeziku. Ovaj keš počinje sa Geocoin-om kao i sa bubom sa Štrumpfeticom. Teren gde je posuda skrivena ide strmo nizbrdo, zato vodite računa, pogotovo kad pada kiša ili u noć. Budite pažljivi naročito kada ima snega i leda. Može da se desi da je teško videti stazu. Uzmite u obzir da koristite specijalnu opremu kao štap za hodanje ili krplje za sneg. Ako se Vama čini da je sumnjivo - odložite potragu do proleća. Od 12-og februara 2013: 1) Ocena za teren povečana na 4.5 za vreme zime 2) Sklonjen znak pokažeći da je zgodno za zimu Od 9-og augusta 2013: Ustanovio sam da se stablo drveta pored keša polomilo u nevremenu. Polomljeno drvo može da otežava pristup kešu što zavisi od pravca iz kojeg prilaze oni koji ga traže. Umesto drveta pored keša sada je panj. Keš je ostao netaknut. Bezbednost na prvom mestu!!
