A taster to whet your appetite for the wonderful walk you're about to embark on, and the first of many caches on this mountain.

My affection for this mountain hasn't diminished, beginning at the age of 8 (when my mother had to bribe me up to the skifield, step by complaining step) till now, when I grab any opportunity to get up here and "do the circuit". The cache is so named because the carpark is affectionately known as 'Paddy's Knob' and there used to be an intentions book to sign about where the cache is.
This cache is just a little starter to get you going up the Pinchgut and on to more rewarding heights and sights. There are lots of caches up there to keep you and any small fry motivated to keep going.
Please double bag the log, and hide the cache just as you found it.
