Cache details
You are looking for a white 35mm film container.
This cache is located within an area frequently patrolled by Police. Please avoid acting suspiciously whilst searching for it, and if challenged, explain about Geocaching.
The cache contains a log book only - please bring your own pen, if you don't sign the log your entry will be deleted.

Location information
Northumberland Avenue was the site for Thomas Edison's British headquarters, Edison House.

The original brick and render facade of Edison House has been retained.

Many prominent personalities of the day had their voices recorded there by the phonograph, including William Ewart Gladstone and P. T. Barnum; these recordings still exist today.

There are several other British government ministry departments situated in Northumberland Avenue, the Ministry of Defence and the Air Ministry formerly occupied the triangular-shaped Metropole Hotel on the street. The Nigerian high commission and a London School of Economics halls of residence are others that can be found in this street.
