CLERMONT CITY HALL/FIRE STATION -- 1926-1979
Completed in June 1926 and built of concrete and stucco, the
original Clermont City Hall building contained rooms for the city
clerk, storage and vault spaces, toilets, as well as room for the
chamber of commerce on the first floor.
On the second floor the was a counsel chamber proper and living
quarters for the city’s fire chief.
The basement floor of this building served as storage for the new
LeFrance fire truck, room for the police head quarters, as well as
the city lock up.
