Soknedal kirke ligger i Midtre Gauldal kommune. Det er en langkirke med om lag 500 plasser. Kirken ble oppført i 1933, for å erstatte den gamle kirken som brant ned. Den nye kirken ble tegnet av John Egil Tverdahl. Både altertavlen, prekestolen, døpefonten og orgelet stammer fra bygningsåret. I 2008 ble kirken pusset opp til sitt 75års- jubileum, og ble malt utvendig på dugnad.

Soknedal Church is situated in the municipality of Midtre Gauldal. It’s a longchurch with about 500 seats. The church was built in 1933, to replace the old one that burned down. The new church was built by John Egil Tverdahl. The altarpiece, the pulpit, the font and the organ are all from the year the church was built. In 2008 the building was redecorated for its 75th anniversary.
