Geocache Description:

Cache # 24

This cache is easily accessible by car or by mountain bike. I did notice that the dirt road seems a lot lower than the paddocks on either side so it may get quite boggy after heavy rain. No problems for a 4x4 though.

This spot was an incidental finding. I was actually seeking another bridge I can remember riding across years ago, which was closer to Tarrawingee. However, that bridge seems to have disappeared! (FTF says that lovely old bridge was swept away in the September 2009 floods).

Whilst driving around I discovered this lovely spot - an old bridge with a stream quite wide and running well, bubbling across the rocks on its way to Tarrawingee. There are also stands of large River Gums nearby and a particularly spectacular one right at the bridge!

As this is near water please keep a lookout for snakes over the hot summer months.

A little bit of stealth may be required at times as there are two farmhouses close by and not too far from the bridge (one each side).

The cache is a micro so it has a LOG sheet only and at time of listing, a Pathtag. Please bring your own PEN.

CONGRATULATIONS - FTF - mvyrmnd!!
