Geocache Description:

The Ashikaga school was founded from the eighth century to the 15th century, but, as for the time, is not clear.
Confucianism and science of divination were the center of the study, but a military science, the medicine were taught for the age of civil strife, too. Therefore there was the person from Ashikaga school which served a war-torn country military commander.
3,000 students learned it in the golden age, and it was introduced in the Europe as "an academy of Bando" by Xavier of the propagator.

足利学校は8世紀から15世紀の間に設立したとされていますが、諸説あり時期は明確になっておりません。
学問は儒学や易学が中心でしたが、戦国時代となると兵学や医学も抗議されるようになり、足利学校出身者の中には戦国大名に仕えるものもあったそうです。
最盛期には3000人もの学生が学び、宣教師フランシスコザビエルは著書の中で「坂東の大学」と紹介しています。

キャッシュは足利学校の入徳門付近に設置しました。
