This cache is located at the far eastern part of the beach in Kalamata.
The cache is located at a part of the beach where erosion has caused large chunks of the land above to collapse, falling into the bay. These rocks in the water make for great snorkeling. I recommend parking by the nearby hotel and walking the beach. As you get closer to the cache you start to see small areas in the beach gravel where fresh water is seeping out of the ground and into the sea. This part of the beach is less congested with visitors and tourist. A good pair of shoes are recommended. The cache container is a 1 1/2" metal pipe, 6 inches long, with caps on each end, painted tan. Inside is a log, pencil, and geocache info paper, and enough room for little items like coins.
