The Sacred Heart Catholic Monastery (a commune of Catholic sisters) was established in 1880 on a high bluff overlooking the Missouri. It is my understanding that the original farm house that was used is still standing high on the bluff-the vertical high point of Yankton-just look for the Steeple! FOR THE CACHE: No need to cross fences.This cache is a larger container with a water-proof micro containing a log attached. NOT snow friendly. !
