De Witte Molen is gelegen op de grens van Roksem en Bekegem, aan de oude Zeeweg. Oorspronkelijk was het een stookmolen die de naam "Rockxem-molen" had meegekregen. De huidige bakstenen bergmolen werd gebouwd in 1843 door Pieter Dierickx Visschers en zijn echtgenote Francisca Strubbe. In de molenromp zit een steen waarop staat "PDV/FS/1843" (PDV = Pieter Dierickx Visschers, FS = Francisca Strubbe). Deze bouwheer had in 1841 in een openbare verkoping "een woonhuys, koorn-wind-molen en oliestandaert-molen, oliekelder, roskot en verder gerief" gekocht van de gebroeders Monteyne. Bij de herbouw werden vele balken uit voorgaande houten molen opnieuw gebruikt. Enkele inscripties wijzen hier op. In drie hoekstukken van het vroegere vangwiel - voorheen een armwiel - staat "Pieter Vieubled 1793" en op een balk op de steenzolder lezen we "1796". De Witte Molen is een bergmolen oorspronkelijk ingericht als graan- en oliemolen met een oliekelder in de wal.
