This is a camouflaged, clip-top, box containing log book, pen, and some small treasures for swapping. Please ensure the lid is on tightly and it is well secreted again. It is close to the side of a well-prepared public track that traverses Wychwood forest.
Parking in the lay-by at N 51° 50.822' W 001°28.738, follow up the road uphill 30 yards, then turn right between the houses and follow the public footpath across the rolling fields towards Wychwood. This route is equally attractive in winter or summer (when it crosses a large, flower-filled, grassy meadow). We have had many happy family walks here. You may well see buzzards and hear the barking of muntjac deer as they run off through the trees. There are also roe and fallow deer to be seen, and the stags can be heard roaring in spring.
Congrats go to Badgerpig on a quick FTF!
