Geocache Description:

A potentially trickly little hide in Clacton town centre. You're going to have to be aware of muggles as well as this being a slighly sneaky hide.

Cache is fully wheelchair accessible and complies with GAGB guidelines on urban caching.

The fountain was installed a few years ago, but shortly after it was opened it had to be fenced off, as it was decided that there was a slight risk to public health if children and others that ran through the jets ingested some of the water. After a period of time, a new water purification system was installed, along with the use of CCTV cameras which now detect when someone moves into the water and it cuts the jets – go on, try it!
