Hundred River Ring 5 - Conker Cache Traditional Cache
Mark_&_Beth: We put this cache up for 'adoption' several years ago. Someone else replaced the cache but never formerly adopted it - but it enabled the cache to stay 'live' for another few years. But recent 'did not finds' suggests this is now lost for good... so am archiving.

Hundred River Ring 5 - Conker Cache
This is the one large cache on the route. This will enable somes swaos and plenty of space for tackables.
This is on a country road than can attract some traffic so be careful to park sensibly if in a car.
I fear that this is not as well hidden as I'd have liked (especially when the leaves fall in the winter)... So pplease make every effort to ensure it is well hidden when you leave.
This is a circular route near to the parishes of Mutford, Rushmere and Hulver Street. It is named after the small river that cuts through the middle of the walk.
The route starts at the impressive Mutford Hall and ends at an eerie desserted farm (in the territory of a Barn Owl which I saw when putting out the caches!).
The route cuts through some woods and across some fields before a stretch on roads. It's a fair trek by foot but can be done by bicycle (though you'll need to lift it over a stile or two!!). It can also be accessed at several places by car.
The 11 caches are all micro sized apart from 1 large cache which will allow for swaps and trackables along the way.
This is one of my favourite areas for a country walk so I hope you enjoy the route.
