Hugh Jazz Returns!
This is a fun addition to the Hugh Jazz series of caches in and around the Wichita area. If you have never found a Hugh Jazz cache, then this will be a treat .
The cache is hidden in the Wichita Wild Habitat Area of Garvey Park. Located at 3499 S. Washington St. in the "South City" neighborhood, this 35 acre park and preserve include a playground, bike path along the Arkansas River, concrete canoe launch, restrooms, picnic tables, shelter, and even a public garden called the Garden of Eatin'. Although prohibited here, ATV's have made some well developed trails that can help you navigate throughout the area. Be careful when venturing off the trails and out into the prairie grass as there are lots of large burrow's to fall in and tons of hidden cactus to stick you. Please try and Leave No Trace while visiting the area and CITO where possible. The cache is very well hidden to prevent getting muggled again. Please make sure completely cover it back up to keep it safe for the next hunt. Thank You, and Enjoy!
