Wichtige Hinweise
- Die Wege links und rechts der Dornbirner Ach sind beliebt bei Spaziergängern, Joggern und Kindern. Außerdem ist es eine dichtbesiedelte Wohngegend. Deshalb ist an allen Tagen, bei jedem Wetter und zu jeder Jahreszeit mit einem erhöhten Muggelaufkommen zu rechnen. Achtung: Muggels wohnen auch in Häusern, sitzen auch auf Balkonen und schauen auch zu Fenstern hinaus! Tarnung ist daher unbedingt erforderlich.

- Bei der Suche muss nichts überklettert oder überstiegen werden und das Flussbett muss nicht betreten werden.
Beschreibung
Der Nummernsteg ist eine Fußgänger- und Radfahrerbrücke über die Dornbirner Ach und verbindet die Stadtbezirke Markt und Hatlerdorf. Flussabwärts liegen der Egetensteg und die Schmelzhütterbrücke, flussaufwärts die Sägerbrücke. Die jetzige Brücke wurde im Herbst 1992 erbaut und ersetzt die bis dahin vorhandene nur 1,2 m breite Konstruktion. Diese war für eine gemeinsame Benützung durch Radfahrer und Fußgänger nicht geeignet, weshalb im Zuge der Umsetzung des damaligen Radwegekonzeptes der Stadt Dornbirn der Neubau erfolgte. Der alte Mittelpfeiler blieb erhalten, die Brückenkonstruktion selbst wurde vollständig erneuert.
Seit dem Jahr 2010 ist der Nummernsteg nicht nur für den Verkehr ein wichtiger Achübergang. Auf der flussabwärts gelegenen Seite führen die Rohre des Dornbirner Fernheizwerks Richtung Innenstadt.

- The paths along the river are very popular for walking, jogging and playing children. In addition there are lots of residential homes. Therefore you have to expect muggles on all days and weather conditions and all seasons. Please be aware: Muggels live in houses, sit on balconies and look out of windows, even if you don't see them! So please maintain stealth.
- Please re-hide the cache carefully and exactly in the same way as it was!
- It is not necessary to climb over or on any obstacles or handrails or to enter the river bed.
Description
The Nummernsteg (in English something like "Number Bridge") is a small bridge for pedestrians and bicyclists across the Dornbirner Ach connecting the town districts Markt ("market") and Hatlerdorf. Nearest other crossings are the Egetensteg and the Schmelzhütterbrücke which are located downstream, and the Sägerbrücke which is located upstream. The current bridge was built in fall 1992 and replaced the old construction which was only 1,2 meters wide and therefore too narrow to be used jointly by both pedestrians and cyclists. The reconstruction was part of the implementation of the bicycle trail concept of Dornbirn. The old middle arch remained in place but the bridge itself was fully renewed.
Since 2010 the bridge is not only important for traffic. On the downstream side the bridge carries the hot water pipes of the community heating which lead to the inner city.
