Geocache Description:

Easy pull off for westbound traffic. There are crossovers about a mile each way for eastbound
traffic. NOT a designated picnic area. Please rehide/recamo.
Named for Boise,Texas, a ghost town 3 miles SW of here.

BOISE, TEXAS. Boise is on the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad just south of Interstate Highway 40, twenty miles west of Adrian in southwestern Oldham County. It emerged as a shipping point for area ranchers and farmers, and mail was routed through Adrian. The depot was used until the 1980s, when the Rock Island discontinued its services in the Panhandle.

Congrats to KD5XB on the FTF
