Geocache Description:

TWEEZERS AND PEN ARE REQUIRED ON SOME CACHES!

This is the second in a series of 6 caches plus a bonus hidden on a 2 mile circular walk in the Weaver Parkway.

The co-ordinates for the bonus have been hidden in 3 of the caches log books, keep your eyes peeled.

Free parking is available at N53 11.927 W002 30.969, the carpark closes at 4.30pm, alternative parkins is available at N53 11.965 W002 30.984.

Part of the route is not suitable for wheelchairs and buggies.

PLEASE REPLACE CACHES AS FOUND!

History. Wander along the historic Weaver navigation, through the industrial and natural landscapes of Weaver Parkway close to Winsford town centre. Much of the parkway has been reclaimed from former industrial land, a legacy of the local salt industry, and is now rich in wildlife.

Over 4km of footpaths and cycleway provide an ideal opportunity to explore the hidden parts of the parkway.
Look out for the Herons, perched on the salt piles across the Weaver, next to Britains only underground salt mine.
