Another in our series of local moth species, a quick cache and dash.
This is a small screw top container with log book, pencil, small swoppables and FTF card. There is room to park on the grass verge.
The Yellow Tail is a white moth that has yellow hairs on the end of its abdomen, the female covers her eggs with these to protect them. The hairy caterpillars feed on Hawthorn and are black, red and white, they are commonly found on hedges during the spring and early summer.
