Capen Park offers many activities including running, biking (some nice singletrack), and rock climbing. Some of my best photo’s have come from this and the surrounding area. You will be sure to see people walking their dogs and bikers on the trails near the cache in the wooded area (so watch out). Take some time to explore a little, and check out the sites. When it is in season the area in the center is full of wild flowers. Also, if you are looking for a nice bike ride - the park service has just linked up trails recently so that you can ride from this park all the way to the MKT staying on trails for almost the entire way.
Park at either of the trail heads (off old 63, or Rock Quarrey) - I would suggest the old 63 but it's up to you.
Cache is a rectangular rubbermaid container. No bushwhacking is required at any time, so follow trail (i.e. don’t go following the arrow on the GPS), and you do NOT need to scale the cliff at anytime either.
More information on the park can be found here.
(Please note: this is my first placed cache, let me know if I did anything wrong or if anything was confusing or unclear – thanks!)
2/22 Lowered the cache diff/terrain a little, seems i might have over estimated. I just didn't want people tumbling down the cliff :)
