Greyhound 8 - StSlRnWdW4 Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

le trois bears: Hope this series has been enjoyable, however a wet and windy winter has taken its toll on some of the series' caches so time for a change. I have archived the series and hope to create a new one soon.

Geocache Description:

see the church? - go towards it

This cache is named after the barely fathomable racecards of greyhounds and is the racecard of Romeo's best win - Started Slowly, Ran Wide, Won by 4 lengths.

Greyhounds are trained to 'get ready to race' on the sound of a bell signalling the hare coming. If we get bored we randomly play the sound of that bell to see 2 confused animals spring up

The Greyhound series is named after our 2 dogs and is based around the area we live in. We have tried to link all our favourite elements of other caches and series to form this 4 mile, 10 (and bonus) set of caches. The series takes in nature at its best, rough tracks, woods, a hidden railway gem and an historic church.

The series is designed with families in mind and combines both tricky and fun caches.

The bonus cache needs to be de-coded; the codes are on the caches as you do the series, though I must admit I have forgotten the sequence!
