Beckie J. Morris, the Environmental Educator for the Barton Springs/Edwards Aquifer Conservation District (District) and a board member with the New Villages at Western Oaks, which is the subdivision in which the Preserve is located, has requested that we archive this cache immediately.
<p>
Beckie indicated that this is an extremely sensitive piece of land in relation to the Edwards Aquifer and one of only two karst preserves in Austin.
<p>
We are currently working with Beckie to see if we can relocate the cache to an area that would be less detrimental to the area, and will reactivate the cache if we can work something out with BS/EACD.
