International SWAG
September 23 – 25, 2011, Southwest Area
Geocachers of Oklahoma (S.W.A.G.) had a booth during Lawton,
Oklahoma’s 32nd Annual International Festival. S.W.A.G.
placed six temporary caches in Elmer Thomas Park (thanks
!CacheRaider! and RedJeepGuy) in order to let people get a better
feel for this crazy hobby. We talked to a lot of people, met fellow
cachers, made some cache runs in the park and spent 2½ days talking
about geocaching. To mark the occasion we decided to leave a cache
behind.
The terrain is pretty easy most of the way, but
please be careful for the last few feet. You are looking for a
decon container so bring the writing instrument of your choice and
your best, small SWAG! There is an FTF gift waiting…

parks are open between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m.
