Geocache Description:

You are looking for a lock-n-lock filled with Halloween "treats" (non-edible) just off of a trail at Black Hawk State Historic Site. Help yourself to one of the "treats," even if you have nothing to trade.

Skeletons and spiders and bats, Oh my!

It's almost Halloween and scary things are in the air, and on the ground, and in the trees. Some of the caches in this Halloween series are not for the fainthearted, so BEWARE, you might be frightened by some of them!!

Park at the north parking lot near the Singing Bird Nature Center and take the trail that goes north from there. Across the culvert and up the hill to the bench - take the trail that goes east and follow it until you cannot go any farther - there is a closed off deck that was the top of the stairway (the trail continues off to the south and down the hill, but you do not need to go down the hill to get to the cache). If you lose your signal, you are at GZ at that location.

Difficulty rating higher because of difficulty getting good coordinates in the woods. Still some poison ivy, etc.

Permission to place caches in the park has been obtained from the Black Hawk State Historic Site.

***Congratulations to RiverWanderer for FTF!***
