Geocache Description:


This cache is placed today in hounour of our dad "Allan" who passed away 5 years ago today.Dad farmed this portion of Section 1 Township 31 Range 13 West of the 3rd Meridian ALL his life. R's Grandfather homesteaded on Section 1 in 1904-1905 and the land has been in the name ever since then. Dad LOVED farming and was a farmer all his life. He loved working the land.This land is now owned by R's brother.
Dad passed away 5 years ago today on Oct.1 2006.We wanted to place a cache today with that memory. There is hardly a day go by even now that we do not remember Dad in some way.Dad is watching you now as you find this cache and would have Loved Caching in the Country--much more than the Urban caching. Please remember ALL our Farmer Friends as they work the land to provide food to us and the world. Enjoy your Hunt and Cache On.
