Geocache Description:

Warnings: BE CAREFUL! There's poison ivy in the woods and it gets muddy there, so watch out. You'll also encounter sand, so dress accordingly. Bring a swimsuit if you want to swim.

The containers are all green-edged tupperware. They have clips on the lid, so please make sure you secure them when you're done. The caches are also staked to the ground with rope, so you can't pick them up very far. The final cache has a log book with a pencil and a pen for you to record your visit.

Some other things to do in Huntington Reservation along with finding the cache: I recommend swimming, hiking in the woods, and fishing.

Hello,
I'm an Ambassador Girl Scout, and this cache is part of my Gold Award project. This is about the past of Huntington Reservation, and tells you the stories of the sites and landmarks around. All this information is where it's never been before: all in one place. I researched and organized the history of Huntington Reservation so no one has to search for it again!(or stare at the buildings confusedly.) I've been working on it for 2 years, and I FINALLY finished it!

If you don't feel like reading the cards in the caches, I've supplemented the info. along with the pictures here. Please look at them!

PLEASE DON'T TAKE THE CARDS INSIDE THE CACHES!!!
DO NOT TAKE THE LOG BOOK!!!
Please leave the caches EXACTLY as you found them!

Thank you to all the following people:
Wendy Weirich - manager of Rocky River Nature Center, Gold Award Supervisor
Carrie Evans - Gold Award Mentor
Carly Martin - Geocaching Coordinator of the Cleveland Metroparks
Everybody in the Bay Historical Society and Osborne Learning Center
I couldn't have done it without you guys!
