Located in Humbug Mountain State Park along Humbug Mountain trail system. Trail head is right on Highway 101 - can't miss it. I would advise visiting other caches in the area.
Our youngest and I was heading up Humbug to do some maintenance on one of our caches and decided to place a couple more caches out on our hike to the top. We came upon this spot and our youngest suggested this spot due to the view of the coastline.
The hike is going to take you approximately 1.5 miles up on the East side trail system, but if you take the whole trail system loop you can get 4 caches.
The cache is located approximately 3 feet below the lower side of trail and 20 feet away from large rotten log that is down the trail from cache. You are looking for a small lock-n-lock container.
Satellite reception can be bouncy along this trail.
