The Bridges of Polk County Traditional Cache
boasark: Got a message from a cacher who went to look for this one. They said the trail is closed - there is a fence there, so no entrance. They are doing road work on this bridge, and they will not be done until sometime in 2028. I am going to disable this one and will continue to monitor the site and repost as soon as possible. Sorry for the inconveinence.

You'll have plenty of company here, but stay out of traffic. Parking on busy streets will get you nowhere real fast, but possibly in the pokey.
The container has been changed to an 8 1/2 cup Lock and Lock and hidden in an unusual location. But the location is meant to provide you with a challenge.
If you like a good walk, the west trail begins in the Campbell Park Recreation Area at N41 degrees 36.596 W93 degrees 47.350 and is a paved bike trail for which this area is well-known. If you prefer to approach from the east, park at N41 degrees 36.607 W93 degrees 46.520, but you'll need to dance around the bridges' walkways to get to the cache and stay out of traffic.
No joking around though, the parking lot which is just yards from the cache site will not make the cache acquisition any easier and you could be in a heap of trouble if you attempt to drive around in there.
