Geocache Description:

Nano cache placed in Church Park in New Harmony, Indiana.

You are looking for a camo/clear nano. This is a nice place to relax while caching. Church Park was originally the site of two churches, and was later the home of the town school until a new school was built in the 1980’s. The park can be entered through the brick re-creation of the Harmonist “Door of Promise”. Atop the door is the Golden Rose design, symbolic of the golden rose mentioned in the Lutheran translation of the bible verse Micah 4:8. Enjoy the fountain and sculpture while you’re here. Not to mention the foliage. Log only, BYOP! Congratulations to Lindy4 on the FTF!!

**New Harmony disclaimer: Although this is a tourist destination, please remember that this is a relatively small residential community. Please be respectful, and use good judgment while caching. While it is common to see people taking strolls here day or night, especially during tourist season, please remember that if the good townsfolk see a group of unfamiliar, rowdy people looking suspicious, they may call the law on you. New Harmony can easily be traveled by foot/wheelchair/mobilized chair, but bicycle rental and golf cart rental are also available. Golf carts are welcome in most parts of town, but be aware that they should not be driven on the roads that are technically state highways (the main roads in and out of town, Main St. and Church St.). Have fun, enjoy the scenery, and most of all enjoy the caching!
