Denna cache ger möjligheten att upptäcka några av Svabensverks fina sevärdheter. Från riksväg 50 och på väg in till cachen finns Svabensverks kyrka och flera tidstypiska byggnader från den gamla bruksmiljön.

På vänster sida de gamla arbetarbostäderna i slaggsten, och en vacker allé leder fram till den gamla herrgården. Här finns även Svabensverks bygdegård, ett museum, vattenkraften samt rester av hyttorna och masugnen m.m. Se karta här nedtill. I närheten av cachen finns även motionsspår och vindskydd.

Cachen är INTE nere vid vattnet!

English summary
This cache give you the opportunity to discover some of the sights in Svabensverk. The iron work of Svabensverk started in 1799 and was closed in 1876. In Svabensverk there is a ironworks village with museum and chapel. In the 19th century Svabensverk had about 300-600 inhabitants. Today about 30 people live here.

The cache is NOT placed by the water!
