Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
This series of 7 caches is dedicated to a horse I used to own
called Nuri and is set around one of our regular hacks that we
would ride.
It is a fairly quiet country lane and the route can be safely done
on foot with plenty of grass verges to stand on should a car come
along (some stages do deviate slightly off the lane). There is
parking available for a couple of cars in a makeshift layby close
to the 1st cache. Alternatively, the route can be driven and there
are various places to pull in safely along the route (the road is
fairly narrow and care should be taken). Please note that between
caches 3 and 4 is a house where many “pet birds” such
as peacocks, guinea fowl and chickens can be found crossing the
road between the house and their field so please drive with extra
caution here. I have kept things fairly simple and I hope you enjoy
the series. The 1st cache is a large tupperware container in a
camouflage bag situated in the woods down a footpath just off the
lane. It contains a log book, pencil and some swaps.
