This is our first try at hiding a cache. We chose Griffth Woods
because it is one of our favorite places to go for a walk and
escape the city. Easy to get to, follow the pathways and enjoy the
relaxing walk along the river. You can easily park at the west end
of Discovery Ridge community and walk from there.
This cache has been placed for the CCARF11 event, held October
22-October 23, 2011. This cache was released to the public on
either October 17th* or October 19th, 2011. (*Earlier release date
for puzzle caches) The cache should not be located prior to
12-noon, Saturday, October 22, 2011. The caches for the CAR event
are released early so that the geocaching community has an
opportunity to plan their routes prior to the event start. This is
a "Never Hidden a Cache for CAR Before" Cache This is a lock &
lock which is camouflaged and contains Halloween related items, a
writing utensil and logbook. The first to find is some Halloween
socks, or your pick of whatever else is there. Please put cache
back as found. Thanks!
