Geocache Description:

A walk/skate/or bike and grab - a glucose strip container hidden off the 11 year old bike path at Surfer's Point.

The vegetation has really grown




Phase 1 of the construction of the "Surfers' Point Managed Shoreline Retreat Project" is complete, along with a new wide bike path and new signage. I thought it deserved a cache - a little black nano was all I could manage right now. Come find it before it succumbs to the muggles

September, 2022 Update:
Cache is now a diabetes test strip container, under the vegetation, on the bike path side of the pole. Now a real veggie hide, though it should be a quick find (excuse me sir, what did you drop?)

September 2021 Update: Cache replaced and changed to a camo'd pill bottle

May 2016 Update:
Cache has changed to a camo'd glucose container (a micro) and is below the vegetation. This could be a veggie hide, but not really

July 2015 Update:
Cache is still a little black nano, and the vegetation has grown in dramatically in the 3-1/2 years since this was first published. This could be a veggie hide, but it isn't

There's a bench near by where you can sit down, extract and sign the log

Parking is available along Shoreline Drive - free if you can find a 24 minute surf check parking spot.
