The fourth of a short series along Putney Park Lane, a pleasant traffic free byway with medieval origins and an almost rural feel that heads south from the Upper Richmond Road up to Putney Heath.
You are looking for a magnetised micro container, log only, so bring your own pencil. Please put back carefully to ensure the container is hidden. The magnet is in the lid so replace it under the horizontal rail. For a bit of history, see North Lodge (GC353V2). All that remains of Granard Lodge, one of the grand country houses on the Roehampton side of Putney Hill, is the gatehouse on the other side of the track. I can't really find out anything about the house. Someone in the neighbourhood collects Morris Minors - check out the two or three parked at GZ.
