Geocache Description:

Come and enjoy the beautiful autumn colours in the stunning grounds of the historic Vogrie Country Park.

There are 11.5 miles of signed footpaths passing through sweeping parkland, woodlands and the River Tyne Valley. There are also two playparks, one near the car parking and another further down. We will be meeting at the giant chairs at 12.00 noon on the day of the event for a group photo. There will also be a log book to sign and a TB box for trades. There is also a café, just further down from the chairs where teas, coffees and light snacks are available to purchase. You will also find us here if the great Scottish weather decides to provide us with a deluge! This is our first geocaching event, so we'd love to meet cachers old and new to swap stories and put names to faces. We can't promise good weather, and there may be quite a bit of mud involved in places, so bring suitable footwear. Cache hounds are welcome, although are not allowed to play in the playparks! Please do not find/log these caches before the day of the event to make it fair for all.
