FroggyBearReviewer: Od ownera sme, žiaľ, nedostali sme žiadnu odozvu na žiadosti o údržbu a obnovu kešky. Preto tento listing teraz archivujem. V mene všetkých jej nálezcov - ďakujem ownerovi za zážitky, ktoré nám priniesla.

SGF: Seria GEMERSKYCH kostolov so stredovekymi FRESKAMI

Series from GEMER region - churches with medieval FRESCOES

ROSTAR

Stredoveky kostol postavili pravdepodobne na prelome 13. a 14. storocia – ma pravouhlu svatynu, pri nej sakristiu na severnej strane, lod a na zapadnej strane masivnu vezu. Svatyna ma goticku krizovu rebrovu klenbu, barokova klenba lode je z 18. storocia. V 70-tych rokoch 20. storocia pamiatkovy vyskum odkryl na stenach svatyne fragmenty stredovekych nastennych malieb – dnes sa tu da rozoznat len postava sv. Alzbety Uhorskej, osetrujucej choreho, predpoklada sa vsak aj existencia dalsich malieb na zatial neskumanych plochach interieru. V kostole je pekne barokove zariadenie: oltar, kazatelnica a drevene malovane empory.

The medieval church was built probably at the turn of the 13th/14th centuries – there is a rectangular presbytery with a sacristy on the northern side, a nave and a massive tower on the western part. The presbytery has a Gothic cross-rib-vaulting, the Baroque vaulting of the nave originates from the 18th century. The heritage research of the murals in the presbytery in the seventies from the 20th century discovered fragments of medieval wall-paintings – today just a scene with St. Elisabeth of Hungary caring for a sick person, but another wall-paintings are presumed on other parts in the church. There is a nice Baroque furnishing in the church: the altar, ambo and the painted wooden tribunes.
