Geocache Description:

The culmination of a day of hiking, caching, and friends with a dash of great scenery!

This cache was placed during Terrible Ts' Monte Cristo event hike.

After the hike into the old ghost town and lunch a few of us hikers decided to hike a little further. After grabbing the cache along the trail outside of town and taking lots of pictures of Glacier Falls even fewer of us decided to try and place a cache closer to the falls since the area was so beautiful. FugeFinders provided a container, Recycled Art Co. provided the waterproofing, PNWBrat provided some swag, and ImLuckiest provided paper and another vital piece of this puzzle which I'll go into later.

With the cache ready to go, our now smaller band of hikers ventured forth. The rain was coming and going making the rocky path slightly slick (so be careful if it's wet.) As we went the view of the falls and valley just kept getting better and better. Places to homestead our newly constructed cache were not looking overly promising though. Until we reached the top! (Well, not quite the top, but as far as we could go without climbing equipment. )

Now a little about our hide, the view will speak for itself. ImLuckiest, as I mentioned before, provided another piece to our cache. Initially it was rope, but that got left at the previous cache site where we gathered our materials. Once we got to the top is when this revelation was discovered. So what to do?! He sacrificed his belt!

This cache is more about the journey and the scenery than the cache itself. So please enjoy the hike and the falls.
