I'm Lichen it! Traditional Cache
Hummingbird1234: I adopted the cache which was in pretty bad shape, so I recreated the container and moved it from its original location. I would like to dedicate the new cache to the previous owner and present a new challenge for all my fellow cachers.

This is a very small cache, the size of a travel aspirin bottle, which holds only the log. Bring tweezers to access log. You will need a pen or pencil. Make sure the cap get put back on tight.
I know Point Defiance is full of caches, some deep in the woods. Yes, I have attempted to find them and was successful with some. However, the last time, somehow got turned around and came out on a different trail with no car to greet us. We walked about 3 miles looking for the car and eventually found it. I decided in the future, I need to be more attentive. The GPS did not work well in the woods.
So, this cache is in Point Defiance, but a forgotten part…I checked the boundaries to make sure. It is not far from the road so you shouldn’t get lost. Yes, there are trees, but the GPS should get you there since you are not deep in the woods. Park in a small parking lot. Go beyond the Salmon Beach gate and off to the left. Follow the path for a ways. In case your GPS is having difficulty, from the pole you will go about 19 paces toward 2 o’clock. My GPS started acting up as I got closer to the trees, but I think the readings are fairly accurate as I took readings several times.
My MO is to highly disguise the cache and make it blend in, and this one is no exception. Due to the foliage and undergrowth, you will need to be quite observant since this a tiny cache. This one should be a bit of a challenge.
Congratulations to our Cool Cache Cow team...you have a very good eye! I've been debating if this is a 2.5 or 3 in difficulty.
