Geocache Description:

Big sign saying "Humboldt Cemetery" - cannot miss this one, though I drove right by it twice before I realized which side of the road it was on. Wanted to place this cache on Sunday, but there was an elderly couple doing headstone rubbings. Usually, I can out-wait people but after 45 minutes of waiting, exploring the cemetery, and looking for fossils in the rock bank across the road, I gave up and placed cache on Monday. UPDATE: December 04, 2011 - Stopped for some maintenance and discovered cache missing. Darn those critter-muggles!! Replaced with a new container. UPDATE: April 21, 2015 - paid a maintenance check this evening. Replaced missing container. You will be searching for a LARGE PILL BOTTLE. UPDATE: May 23, 2016 - Area recently burned of vegetation (and my cache container as well). Replaced with a BATTERY PACK FROM NIGHT VISION GOGGLES. Same coordinates/location. UPDATE: March 17, 2018 - Replaced missing container with a large PILL BOTTLE. Last container blatantly taken away. UPDATE: July 28, 2019 - Placed new container. Should be hanging from fence line vicinity of those stone posts. Look for a BOTTLECAP style container with geocaching stickers on it. As always, follow the rules that we have all read on other page write-ups concerning visiting cemeteries.
