Wecolme to "Lorna, Think Outside The Square"
This is another cache in my small flora and fauna reserves on the Mornington Peninsula.
Lorna Bennetts (1916-1993) was a counciller with the Shire of Hastings from 1970 to 1987, and was the first female shire president. As well she was a keen environmentalist, intrumental in preserving many pockets of native bushland in the shire. This reserve was named in her honor.
The reserve is made up of mostly damp swamp areas, with some Stringybark woodlands with lots of spring wildflowers and orchids, enjoy!
The cache is a camo painted, 1.2 Ltr container.
