Geocache Description:

A beautiful water body in the northern New Territories.

Lau Shui Heung Reservoir is a small irrigation reservoir near Fanling, popular for its beautiful surroundings and allows for a relaxed stroll along it, the Lau Shui Heung Nature Trail, and the many barbecue sites in the area. There is also a small camp site attached to one of the barbecue sites a bit upstream from the reservoir.

To get there, take minibus 52B from Fanling Station heading for Hok Tau, get off at Lau Shui Heung Reservoir (ask the driver). From the drop-off point it's a 15-minute uphill walk along the road to the reservoir. Getting back is harder as the minibus tends to fill up in Hok Tau leaving en-route passengers with no chance of getting on. Get a taxi or walk 30 mins down to Sha Tau Kok Road.

The cache is a small box containing just a log, BYOP. There is space for small items and travellers.
