WTF??? Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

OReviewer: As there's been no cache to find for a long time or has had no owner response for at least 30 days, I'm archiving it to keep it from showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Please note that if geocaches are archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance, they are not eligible for unarchival.

Geocache Description:

Ok the name of the cache explains it I was out caching in mystic islands saw this spot and knew it was geo material. If anyone knows what this is write it in the log and I'll change up the description.

Normally I do not comment on cache listings but having a pretty good idea of what this is prompted me to send you the info. You should be able to verify it or get more information from a local library or historical society.
Before geocaching, I spent some time in the Mystic Islands/Tuckerton area. If you notice, your cache is off of Radio Road. This is hint #1. Before or during World War II (I believe, may have been WW I) Germany had a huge radio tower built; if I remember correctly it was either 400 or 600 feet high. This was used for Morse code signals sent to Germany. Some think the coded messages to sink ships was sent to German U-boats (submarines) lurking in the Atlantic Ocean.
What you have located is one of a number of concrete anchor blocks used to stabilize and support the tower. These were either guy wires or metal structures connected to the tower from the blocks.
Hope this proves helpful.
