4.23. Unarchiving a Geocache

The archiving of a geocache is intended to be a permanent status. That is why only community volunteer reviewers and Geocaching HQ staff have the capability to unarchive it. This is done only in rare circumstances and only if it meets the current Geocache Listing Guidelines.

If a geocache is archived by a reviewer or staff for lack of maintenance it will not be unarchived.

Geocache Description:

A well-hidden cache in the beautiful bush near Jarrahdale.

Hopefully this one wont be too easy to find. . .

The container itself is a camouflaged plastic cylinder about 120mm long and 30mm in diameter.

A short stroll on a well defined track and then an even shorter bush-bash to GZ.

Please be careful with the cache container - it could be a bit delicate if treated roughly. Please replace it as you found it.

Also, please be gentle with the bush in the area - there is no need to kick trees over, rip up bushes or destroy anything to find this cache - the camouflaged container is in plain sight, it's not under a grass tree or in a hollow log or anything like that.

Cache contains a logbook and pencil - and a couple of scratchies as a FTF prize. There might just be room for small trackables.

There is easy parking available at WP1 and to avoid a line-of-sight slog through the bush, there is a trailhead at WP2.
