Palac w cichych, lezacych na uboczu Ramultowicach stal sie w 1943 roku schronieniem dla najcenniejszych manuskryptów ze Stadt Bibliothek zu Breslau. Przywieziono je tutaj, aby uchronic bezcenne ksiegi przed zniszczeniem podczas ewentualnego bombardowania miasta. 100 skrzyn wypelnionych bezcennymi ksiazkami zajelo miejsce w salonie muzycznym palacu. Po zakonczeniu wojny polscy bibliotekarze stwierdzili, ze skrzynie zostaly spladrowane, a najcenniejsze dziala zostaly zrabowane.
Sukcesorka dawnej Biblioteki Miejskiej we Wroclawiu jest Biblioteka Uniwersytecka we Wroclawiu. I to do niej wracaja odnalezione w domach aukcyjnych na calym swiecie manuskrypty, które udalo sie odzyskac. Sa wsród nich bezcenny pietnastowieczny brewiarz, mszal z kosciola Sw. Marii Magdaleny (1470 r.), a takze dzielo „Liber de Natura Rerum”. Ten ostatni manuskrypt zostal przekazany do Biblioteki Uniwersyteckiej przez Ministra Spraw Zagranicznych Radoslawa Sikorskiego calkiem niedawno, 27. wrzesnia 2011 roku.
Zapraszam do szukania skrzyni z ksiazkami. Wykonana jest z drewna debowego (a moze tylko kolo debu lezala, brak szczególowych danych :). Ukryta jest na terenie wsi, bo tamtego palacu dzis juz nie ma. Dwa stare drzewa udzielily jej schronienia. Maja tak bogate listowie, ze wspólrzedne ciezko bylo zlapac, wiec podane koordynanty prosze traktowac orientacyjnie.

Do Ramultowic mozna dojechac z Wroclawia autobusem linii 529 i 547 Polbus PKS oraz linia 549 Sevibus.

Ramultowice Palace became in 1943 a shelter for the most precious manuscripts from the Stadt Bibliothek zu Breslau. Brought them here to protect priceless books from being destroyed during the bombing of the city. 100 chests of priceless books took place in the music room of the palace. After the war, Polish librarians found that the boxes were looted, and the most valuable works were stolen.
Successor of the former City Library in Wroclaw is the Library of Wroclaw University. And her return found in auction houses around the world manuscripts which have been recovered. Among them are priceless fifteenth-century breviary, missal from the church of St. Mary Magdalene (1470), and the work of the "Liber de Natura Rerum." This manuscript was submitted to the University Library by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Radoslaw Sikorski recently, 27 September 2011.
Feel free to look for the box of books in Ramultowice. It is made of oak (or maybe just lying around the oak, the lack of detailed data :). It is hidden just inside the village, because of the palace is gone today. Two old trees gave the shelter. Leaves are so rich that it was hard to catch the coordinates, so please remember, I give the approximate ones.
Parking for cars and bicycles is very close to cache.
Ramultowice you can reach from Wroclaw by line 529 and 547 of Polbus and by a line Sevibus 549.
