Bishop 2 - Rowdens Cross Traditional Cache
bishopflyer: Checked today and once again it has gone missing. This is one of my favourite caches with such a lovely view but I am reluctantly going to archive it.

A favourite spot of mine where, on a clear day. you can just take in the view.
The terrain rating reflects the walk up from Bishop 1 - Happy Valley.
From here you can see Dartmoor with Rippon Tor, Saddle Tor and Haytor, then around to the right Teign Village and Canonteign House.
From here take the road signed back to the village - downhill now!
When you reach Clanage Cross do take a moment or two to once again look at the views across the river Teign and down towards Teignmouth. Not far now to Bishop 3.
However, should you wish to extend this walk to find some more caches just continue up the hill to Westwardho!'s White Well GC33VR5, lordhutton's Haldon Golf Club - Postman's Path GC13DVF(again lovely views approaching this one along Postman's Path footpath) then down a steep hill to Westwardho!'s Grandisson's Grandoise Getaway GC2W8F2 and then back into the village where you will approach Bishop 3 from the opposite direction.
It's a lengthy extension but the decision is yours!!
PLEASE replace cache exactly as found as then it will hopefully remain dry!
