There is a lovely little town here situated on the mighty Mongarlowe River - that has sadly been a little neglected! Currently it has a population of around 20 - but years ago, during the gold rush, that was much higher! The town - surprisingly, called Mongarlowe is a lovely little town! Alas, there are no longer any shops, or even a pub! All the more reason for a little attention!
We came here to try our luck fishing, gold panning and boating! None of which were too successful, but we had a lot of fun anyway!
