Close to parking lot. Fairly busy, especially on weekends. Best in Spring/Fall when there is no foliage.
The cache can be found in Monmouth Battlefield State Park where one of the largest battles of the American Revolution took place. The Park preserves a splendid rural 18th-century landscape of hilly farmland and hedgegroves that encompasses miles of hiking and horseback riding trails, picnic areas, a restored Revolutionary War farmhouse and a visitors' center.
The cache was placed in memory of William P., a warrior at an early age in life who was true to his God, country, and family. He frequented this park to hit and chip golf balls near this location.
