Camo'd lock-n-lock container hidden at French Grove Wildlife Area in Marshall County. Cache hidden with permission of Marshall County Conservation. Original contents include log book, pen and some nifty SWAG items. Please place the cache back as you found it when you're done signing the log. You will have to bushwhack the last 200' or so.
Welcome to French Grove! This is a cool little wildlife area back here and we discovered the area last week while putting out another cache container here. Some of you may recognize the area if you ever did the "Foreign Forest" cache. It has been archived and this one has been placed pretty close to the original hiding spot of that cache.
Please observe park rules while you are out here. Don't cross the fence into private property. This cache is located on the NE corner of the park, so if you get to a fence while you're walking around back here then don't go past it.
This cache probably would be nearly impossible to find during the winter months and I don't believe the trails are maintained here, so cache at your own risk that time of year. Also keep in mind that bow hunting is allowed here so if you are out here in the fall you might want to wear bright clothing so you don't get shot.
Stay out of the bunker near the parking area. I know it's tempting to see what's down there but I don't know for certain what it is and I wouldn't want anyone to get hurt.
