Geocache Description:

A short hike (under 10 minutes), from the road round the western end of Loch Duntelchaig, Boggy and uneven ground. Last few yards are over a rocky outcrop. Take care with very young children around the cache area. There is room for 2 or 3 cars to pull in off the road at the end of the retaining wall which skirts this end of the loch.

This cache is placed near a favourite fishing spot of ours, over the years we have had some very nice brown trout from Loch Duntelchaig. On a nice day, the view of the Loch from the cache site is superb. If you explore this rocky outcrop fully, you will also find a nice stone engraved in memory of a gentleman whom we imagine must have loved this spot as much as we do.
Be aware that there are usually unfenced sheep and cattle in this area so please keep dogs under control at all times. The cache is a small lock & lock container containing a logbook, pen and several small goodies for the younger geocachers.
If you decide to bring a rod with you and have a few casts in the loch, we wish you "Tight Lines."
